Who I am
I'm an experienced financial and business analyst. I'm used to working directly with senior leadership, including C-level and private equity ownership, to report and analyze financial data for the business.
I'm at my best when I'm part of a supportive, strong team. My biggest strength has always been my curiosity -- having the knowledge to answer 'why' is crucial to being a successful analyst and business partner.
Background
I have an extensive background in:
- Financial planning, modeling, forecasting, reporting, and analysis
- Revenue recognition/monthly close
- Associated reporting and commentary for executive and C-level audiences
- Expense/Revenue analysis and commentary
- SaaS / Professional Services business/financial reporting
- Data analysis and data visualization tools like R, Tableau, and PowerBI
- Some Python programming (still learning!)
What I Do
I enjoy building financial/operational models, related analysis, and using the tools available (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to tell the story of a business.
In my spare time, I like learning about math/stats, trying out some light programming, reading history books, and walking with my dog, Moose.
